This electric power steering kit has been specially designed for the Peugeot J9, it includes a complete column assisted by electric assistance. No welding or cutting of the original column is necessary, we provide you with a new column ready to be installed on your beautiful J9.
This allows you to keep your original column for a possible reversal. This steering comes with a potentiometer to adjust the steering stiffness according to your driving style.
It also has a safety feature that allows you to drive in case of electrical failure (you will have a traditional non-assisted steering).
The installation is simple and fun, it requires approximately 6 to 8 hours of labor.
